THANK YOU FOR DANCING WITH ME (IN BETWEEN)

How to really be in touch while not being there physically? A question that crosses our human minds often in these days.

In 2017 I exhibited this work dealing with ‘the analog versus digital domains’, trying to bridge the sensory physical domain together with the virtual. Being on mainland Europe while making direct metaphysical contact with the exhibition in London, I came up with the following haptic artefact. The soft rope to be touched in time, by me and by the public; a mediating video piece in which the rope became the protagonist highlighted by the machinery, all in between. A triangle of soft skills, hard technological tools and human feelings.
